Our inaugural concert celebrates the beauty of new beginnings. Just as the sun rises to usher in a new day, this program explores the many facets of light—from the delicate interplay of light and shadow to the triumphant return of spring after a long, cold winter. Featuring works by historical masters like Lili Boulanger alongside world premieres by two Colorado-based composers, this performance is a vibrant celebration of life and renewal.
Lumina Chamber Orchestra offers Colorado audiences musical experiences driven by passion and a love for performing music by living composers, underrepresented composers, and beloved composers from history through today. LCO seeks to share the voice of composers in meaningful ways to audiences, curating programs which are modern and relevant to the world we inhabit today. LCO believes that live music is a force for good, for connection, and for fulfillment, and is fully committed to presenting high-quality performance opportunities to its musicians and audiences.
